Biography
Cynthia completed her M.F.A in Creative Writing for Stage & Screen at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and she designed her own major in Playwriting (an Individually Designed Interdepartmental Major) at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities for her undergraduate work. As the picture shows, Cynthia was also very proud to attend the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in Washington DC as a National Finalist in 2016.
Raised in the Midwest, Cynthia is delighted to have her work produced all over the United States and is a proud member of The Dramatist Guild.
Through an association with the Dylan Thomas Summer School and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David Lampeter, Cynthia has received two International readings through Write4word, a West Wales based community non-profit, of her short play "The Nice View" in Carmarthen and Laugharne.
